Ahead of any design we first need to undertake a measured survey of your property to then draw up existing plans and elevations as required by planning authorities when making applications

The existing plans and elevations are drawn up in AutoCAD and form the template for the preparation and design of the new plans and elevations for discussion with you before concluding the design. We can advise on whether other consultants will be required to validate a planning application

We prepare and submit the planning application on your behalf. Any discussion or negotiating required with the Planning Officer will generally be carried out by ourselves before reporting back to you

Following planning permission we can prepare the detailed construction drawings, arrange quotations with any other consultants required e.g. a Structural Engineer. We will submit the application to Building Control and ensure that the drawings meet with current Building Regulations standards

Under UK law, the role of Principal Designer is essential in ensuring health and safety are integrated into the design process from the very beginning. As experienced architects, we take on this responsibility under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015), managing and coordinating health and safety during the pre-construction phase.

We will prepare comprehensive tender packages to be sent to various building contractors for their quotations. Additionally, we can assist in preparing contracts and oversee the construction phase to completion as needed.
